Collaboration builds the bridge that leads to positive change. You may have heard the phrase: Dance is for everyone—all ages, all financial backgrounds, all abilities. This was not always the case. Especially for children and adults with/without disabilities or financial hardships, which is why we at Feel the Beat have teamed up with passionate businesses, fellow nonprofits, and individuals to make dance accessible and available to all students.

Whether it’s corporate donors, schools, or individuals, our partnerships have furthered our reach. We’ve connected students to specialized programs and friendships, volunteers and companies to outreach opportunities, and parents to other families like their own. Events, fundraising, scholarships, research, and the development of our specialized flooring are made possible because of these relationships. Together we share a mission to overcome obstacles so our students can have the same nondiscriminatory dance experience as anyone else.

Ultimately and collectively, we work together to bridge a gap. We provide technologically advanced flooring that allows individuals who are Deaf, Hard of Hearing, and those with Disabilities a chance to interact with music and delight in moments of rhythmic immersion in a way they may not have experienced ever before. The more awareness we have raised, the more we have expanded our efforts to meet the need for accessible programs. Partnership growth continues to help us remove barriers and reach more underrepresented students.
